On Saturday, the first Downhill World Cup race of the season took place in Leogang. The track conditions were comparable to those of last year's World Cup. The rain had turned the new forest section into a deep mud landscape. Just in time for the race on Saturday, the sun came out and dried at least still parts of the track, which promised an exciting race.
