Flexible Mounting Options

Thanks to the smart clamp design, the Innerbarends® 2.0 are compatible with almost all common grips. They mount directly onto the grip, replacing the traditional clamp ring for a clean and integrated look.

Alternatively, mounting alongside the grip is also possible, allowing for personal preference and specific needs. SQlab focuses on flexible solutions that adapt to different riding styles and requirements.

Science Meets Ergonomics

Our LAB team conducted an extensive study at the velodrome with the 411 Innerbarends®: participants rode ten laps at 36 km/h — once with a classic grip, once with the Innerbarends®. Power output was measured precisely.

The result: With the Innerbarends®, riders saved an average of 14 watts — about five percent less effort at the same speed. The aerodynamic elbow position noticeably reduces air resistance and promotes a more relaxed hand position, relieving neck and hand strain.

Must Have für jeden Lenker

Ich fahre die Innerbarends seit drei Jahren an meinem SUV E-Bike und musste jetzt einen neuen Satz für ein neues Fahrrad anschaffen. Die Barends sind für mich ein Must-Have, insbesondere bei sehr langen Touren möchte ich sie nicht mehr missen.

Innerbar‘s 411 2.0 Carbon

Super leicht, gut griffig, jedoch bei einer shimano XT Schaltung mit integriertem Bremshebel, nicht direkt neben dem Griff montierbar.

Short innerbands, hollow backs

I like the small size and inner position. Helps improve my range of hand positions, relieving strain on my arthritic elbows and wrists. I was surprised by the hollow space on the part of the grip that faces forward. Though the edges of the grip are rounded, my fingers can still feel the edges. After looking more at the photos online, I now see that the 410 2.0 are full oval shaped grips, while the 411 2.0 have the hollowed area to save weight. If I had understood this before purchase, I would have bought the 410 2.0 grips. The description of the 410 2.0 and 411 2.0 should be improved to make it easier to understand the difference. As it is written now, it implies that the 410 2.0 only fit the bespoke SQ Lab handlebar, while the 411 2.0 are designed to fit most 22.2 mm handlebars. In reality, I think the only difference is the shape of the grip - but I really not sure because the descriptions and pictures are not very clear.

Sq-Lab anything rocks!

I’ve had Sq-Lab saddle, handlebars, two sets of grips and two sets of inner bar ends over the past 7 years. They never fail to make every ride so much more enjoyable for this aging achy body! Every millimeter of comfort matters. Thank you!
