The M-D Line was developed for maximum relief of sensitive areas. A pressure distribution according to medical aspects. M-D Line stands for maximized dip. In combination with the high classic step shape, distributes the body weight to the sit bones. The 621 M-D active 2.1 has a relief of 85%.
ERGOLUX® means comfort
The two-stage ERGOLUX® shape supports balanced pressure distribution between the sit bones and the perineal area – ideal for a more upright riding position. Thanks to the wave-shaped contour, pressure is spread over a wide area of the sit bones. Compared to the M-D Line, the difference in height between the seating surface and the relief zone is more moderate – for noticeable comfort on everyday city rides or leisurely tours. The 621 ERGOLUX® active 2.1 provides up to 70% relief in the perineal region.

De 621 M-D active 2.1 gebruikt een modelspecifiek maatsysteem. Bij een zitbotafstand tot en met 12 cm adviseren we een zadelbreedte van 18 cm. Bij een zitbotafstand van meer dan 12 cm kan de uitvoering van 21 cm of 24 cm geschikt zijn.
Ja. De 621 M-D active 2.1 is E-Bike Ready en specifiek ontworpen voor stadsgebruik. Het zadel is daarmee geschikt voor een comfortgerichte, rechte zithouding tijdens dagelijks gebruik in de stad. De maximaal toegestane belasting is 150 kg.
Het M-D-ontwerp (Maximized Dip) heeft een uitgesproken verdieping die bedoeld is om de druk rond het perineum en schaambeen te verminderen. De 621 M-D biedt circa 85% drukontlasting in het perineale gebied. Het brede steunvlak en Comfort Foam vullen dit concept aan voor een comfortabele, rechte zithouding.
De active-technologie laat het bekken tijdens het trappen zijdelings bewegen, wat de belasting van de lendenwervelkolom, het bekken en de heupen kan helpen verminderen. Bij City-modellen biedt de active switch onder het zadel twee standen om deze zijwaartse beweging aan persoonlijke comfortvoorkeuren aan te passen.

Comfortable for long rides with a very upright riding posture
The depression in the middle does a good job of protecting the 'family jewels' from discomfort. My only negative observation is that my sit bones tend to slide forward so I have to reposition them frequently.
Solved sore coccyx problem
I was worried I’d be spending a lot of money and not solve the problem I had of a sore coccyx, but I’m so glad I bought this. Cycling is comfortable again. I cycle about 1hr a day for my commute on a Pointer city bike.
