A prerequisite for maximum comfort and relief is the matching saddle width, so that it is ensured that your sit bones lie fully on the saddle. Because only then, the sensitive perineal area in men and the usually lower pubic arch in women can be properly relieved.

The SQlab active saddle technology enables a physiological co-movement of the pelvis. Spinal discs and facet joints can thus be relieved. In particular, the mobilization of the spincal discs is clearly noticeable. SQlab introduces the next evolutionary stage of active technology. ERGOLUX® stands for maximum comfort.

The two-stage ERGOLUX® shape provides balanced pressure distribution between the sit bones and perineal area. The pressure on the sit bones is distributed over a very large area due to the wave shape. The difference in height between the sit bone support and perineal area is less than with the M-D Line, which is consistently designed to relieve pressure. The 602 ERGOLUX® active 2.1 has a relief of 65%.

M-D Line stands for maximum relief.

The M-D Line was developed for maximum relief of sensitive areas. A pressure distribution according to medical aspects. M-D Line stands for maximized dip. In combination with the high classic step shape, distributes the body weight to the sit bones. The 602 M-D active 2.1 has a relief of 80%.

Voor trekkinggebruik tel je 3 cm op bij de gemeten zitbotafstand om de juiste zadelbreedte te bepalen. Bij een zitbotafstand van 13 cm is de aanbevolen zadelbreedte bijvoorbeeld 16 cm.

Ja, de 602 ERGOLUX® active 2.1 is E-Bike Ready en ontworpen voor Trekking Comfort. De maximaal toegestane belasting is 130 kg. Daarmee is het zadel geschikt voor trekkingfietsen en e-bikes die voldoen aan het aangegeven gebruiksdoel en de belastingslimiet.

De Comfort active-technologie van de 602 ERGOLUX® active 2.1 laat het bekken tijdens het trappen zijdelings meebewegen. Bij versie 2.1 kan de mate van beweging via de Switch-functie in twee standen worden ingesteld. Daarvoor is geen gereedschap nodig, zodat de beweging eenvoudig aan persoonlijke voorkeuren kan worden aangepast.

De 602 ERGOLUX® active 2.1 heeft een vlakker getrapt profiel en biedt 65% ontlasting van het perineum. De M-D-versie heeft een meer uitgesproken verdieping en een hogere trede, waardoor meer lichaamsgewicht naar de zitbotten wordt verplaatst. Deze versie biedt 80% perineale ontlasting. Beide concepten leggen daarmee een ander accent op comfort en drukontlasting.

Dit trekkingzadel combineert massieve CrMo-rails met een zadelschaal van polypropyleencompound. Voor de padding wordt Light Foam gebruikt en de bekleding bestaat uit slijtvaste microvezel. Afhankelijk van de gekozen zadelbreedte bedraagt het gewicht circa 470 tot 500 g.

Komfortabler Tour-Sattel

Komfortabler Tour-Sattel für kurze und mittlere Strecken sehr gut geeignet! Für lange Strecken habe ich noch keine Erfahrung bzw. Gelegenheit zu testen. Auch die Aktive-Funktion ist prima gelöst. Wobei die „weiche“ aktivere Einstellung gewöhnungsbedürftig ist. Ich bevorzuge die normale Einstellung. Als Fazit: Gut verarbeiteter Trecking- bzw. Tour-Sattel. Trotz der Aktiv-Funktion ist das Gewicht noch im Rahmen. Auch die Abstufung trägt zum „guten Gefühl“ bei. Man fühlt sich mit dem Fahrrad mehr verbunden, rutscht nicht ständig hin und her um die passende Position zu finden. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und kann den Sattel weiterempfehlen.

I’m really happy with this saddle! It’s the first one I’ve used where I don’t feel sore after a ride. I’m not sure if it’s possible to avoid all discomfort on long rides, but this is the closest I’ve come. Great job!
