Voor wegwielrennen tel je 2 cm op bij de gemeten zitbotafstand om de juiste zadelbreedte te bepalen. Bij een zitbotafstand van 11 cm hoort bijvoorbeeld een zadelbreedte van 13 cm. De 612 ERGOWAVE® 2.1 is verkrijgbaar in breedtes van 12, 13, 14, 15 en 16 cm, zodat het zadel op de individuele anatomie kan worden afgestemd.
De 612 ERGOWAVE® 2.1 heeft geen active-technologie en is ontworpen voor een direct, precies rijgevoel bij sportief wegwielrennen. Daardoor verschilt hij bijvoorbeeld van de 612 ERGOWAVE® active 2.2, waarbij de active-technologie is ontworpen om extra comfort te bieden en de belasting van de tussenwervelschijven te helpen verminderen.
De 612 ERGOWAVE® 2.1 biedt 65% ontlasting in het perineale gebied. Tegelijk ondersteunt de ERGOWAVE®-vorm een sportieve zithouding op de racefiets. Zo combineert het zadel een op performance gerichte constructie met gerichte drukontlasting op een gevoelig gebied.
De 612 ERGOWAVE® 2.1 combineert holle S-Tube-rails van licht roestvrij staal met een koolstofvezelversterkte polyamide zadelschaal (PA12 + CF). Voor de padding wordt Superlight Foam gebruikt en de bekleding bestaat uit Superlight Microfibre. Afhankelijk van de zadelbreedte ligt het gewicht tussen 210 en 235 g.
De 612 ERGOWAVE® 2.1 is ontworpen voor een maximale belasting van 90 kg en is E-Bike Ready. Het model valt in DIN/ASTM-categorie 4, voor veeleisende afdalingen onder 40 km/u en sprongen tot circa 120 cm. Het maximale aanhaalmoment is 18 Nm.

My 3rd SQLabs seat!
I have an active 60x on my MTB and an active 614 on my gravel bike. Beginning of last winter I moved the gravel seat to my fat tire bike. Didn't want to move it back so purchased this seat for my gravel bike. The highest compliment I can pay a seat is to say once it is installed and adjusted I never think about it again. These seats do seem more finicky about how they are set up, but if you take the time you will not be disappointed.
