Running for those who can’t

The Wings for Life World Run is not a traditional sporting event.
It is a global movement with a clear mission: to make spinal cord injuries curable.
100% of all entry fees and donations go directly to spinal cord research worldwide.

On May 10, 2026, thousands of people around the world will run and roll for those who are unable to run themselves.

When movement becomes the mission

SQlab stands for ergonomic products that enable movement, make it easier, and improve long‑term health. Our daily focus is on the back, pelvis, and spine.

Losing this freedom of movement is one of the most profound changes a person can experience. This is exactly where Wings for Life comes in. The World Run gets people moving to support those who have lost that ability. We support this idea with full conviction.

Turning conviction into action

For the Wings for Life World Run, we offer the 611 Ergowave® active 2.1 LTD Wings for Life Edition.

The 611 Ergowave® active 2.1 stands for:

  • An ergonomic stepped saddle design for effective pressure relief

  • active-technology that supports natural, back‑friendly pelvic movement

  • Performance and comfort for sporty MTB riding

The Wings for Life Edition combines these features with a clear purpose:
€10 from every saddle sold goes directly to the Wings for Life Foundation.

Movement is freedom. Helping is too.

The Wings for Life World Run is a reminder of how precious movement is – and how quickly it can be lost.
If we can make a small contribution with a well‑designed product and a clear stance, then that’s exactly what we do.

For the back.
For research.
For everyone still waiting for the chance to run again.
