The 611 ERGOWAVE® active 2.1 is specifically designed for trail and down-country riding and is classified as DIN/ASTM Category 4 (demanding descents below 40 km/h and jumps up to approximately 120 cm). Kevlar-reinforced edges provide additional protection in rough terrain, while the glass fibre-reinforced polyamide saddle shell is designed for sporty MTB use.

The active System 2.1 in the Sport version follows the natural movement of the pelvis and can help reduce strain on the lumbar spine. Particularly on long and technically demanding MTB rides, the construction allows lateral pelvic movement, while the ERGOWAVE® shape helps maintain a stable riding position.

The 611 ERGOWAVE® active 2.1 provides 65% pressure relief in the perineal area. Its wave-shaped ERGOWAVE® profile supports the sit bones while reducing pressure on sensitive areas. This combination is tailored to the more stretched, performance-oriented riding position commonly used in mountain biking.

Depending on the width, the 611 ERGOWAVE® active 2.1 weighs approximately 235 g at 13 cm, 237 g at 14 cm, 249 g at 15 cm and 254 g at 16 cm. All four sizes feature hollow stainless-steel S-Tube rails, Superlight Foam padding and an impact-resistant microfibre cover.
