What is Infinergy®?

Not your typical saddle foam.

The 610 Infinergy combines the maximum relief of the SQlab M-D Line with the responsive cushioning of Infinergy®. Its M-D shape, with a pronounced dip and raised rear section, is designed to shift pressure onto the sit bones and enables up to 82% relief in the perineal area. This makes the saddle particularly suitable for trekking and touring, where sustained pressure relief and reliable support are essential over longer distances.

The entire padding is made from Infinergy®, an expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (E-TPU) developed by BASF. Unlike conventional PU foam, the fused elastic particles absorb impacts and vibrations dynamically and immediately return to their original shape. The result is consistent cushioning and support without a soft, sinking feel, even during long rides.

Instead of a full cover, abrasion-resistant, adhesive-free tapes protect only the high-wear areas, giving the 610 Infinergy its distinctive appearance.

Why Infinergy® is Different

Cushioning that responds.

Roots, stones and uneven surfaces create repeated impacts and vibrations. Infinergy® padding absorbs these loads and quickly returns to its original shape. This creates a responsive, supportive ride feel without the padding feeling overly soft or undefined.

The durable E-TPU material retains its shape under repeated use and is manufactured into the saddle in Germany. Strategically placed tapes reinforce high-wear areas and fine-tune support in selected contact zones.

Tailored fit

The 610 Infinergy® M-D active 2.1 is available in four widths. The correct size is determined by your sit bone distance and riding position. When the width matches your anatomy, the sit bones can rest on the intended support area while the center of the saddle provides space for sensitive structures.

M-D stands for Maximized Dip. The pronounced step supports the sit bones, while the deeper center creates additional space in the sensitive perineal area. Developed for a moderate to upright riding position, the 610 Infinergy® M-D active 2.1 has a stated perineal relief value of 82%.

Dynamic support

With every pedal stroke, the active system allows the saddle to move subtly from side to side. This supports natural pelvic movement and helps the rider maintain a more dynamic position over longer distances.

ERGOLUX - Balanced Support

The two-stage Ergolux shape combines a broad sit bone support area with a less pronounced step. Its wave-shaped profile is designed for balanced pressure distribution and long-term support.

M-D Line - Increased Perineal Relief

The M-D Line uses a more pronounced step and a deeper center. This shifts more support toward the sit bones and creates additional space in sensitive areas. The 610 M-D active has a relief of 82%.
