The perfect fit for a bicycle grip is crucial for comfort and grip safety. The grip width is the measurement from the tip of the middle finger to the crook of the thumb. This is exactly where you enclose the handle. The grip sizes differ in diameter, length and shape.

Conventional grips often overload the carpal tunnel exit – causing numbness or tingling in the fingers. SQlab pressure mapping shows: up to 80% of peak pressure hits this sensitive zone. Hervorragender Halt, endlich keine tauben Finger mehr

Obwohl ich meinte, dass die Fahrradgriffe, die ich vorher nutzte, gut genug seien, wurde ich nach der Montage der 702er von SQlab eines Besseren belehrt. Vor dem Kauf hatte ich bei SQlab das kostenlose Vermessungsset geordert, das mir dabei half, die passende Griffgröße zu bestimmen (wäre sicherlich auch ohne die Schablone gelungen, doch ich empfand die Unterstützung durch die Schablone als überaus hilfreich und genauer, als eine einfache "Vermessung" der Hände). Die Montage war schnell erledigt, die Ausrichtung, um die Hände eben nicht mehr zum Abknicken zu bringen, gelang ebenfalls schnell. Die Griffe lassen sich sehr gut und fest fixieren und leisten damit auch eine perfekte Stützwirkung während der Fahrt. Die Griffe liegen perfekt in der Hand (und umgekehrt), ich bin beinahe verärgert darüber, dass ich diese Griffe nicht schon viel früher gekauft und montiert habe. Ganz eindeutige Empfehlung, vor allem für all jene, die beim Biken oder auch danach über Schmerzen oder Taubheitsgefühle in Fingern oder Händen zu klagen haben.
