Designing a saddle for kids is no small feat – it’s easy to get more wrong than right. With over 20 years of experience in ergonomics and saddle development, we took on the challenge. The result: our SQlab Kids Line, launched in 2023. These saddles give the smallest riders the same ergonomic advantages we’ve been perfecting for years.

Sized just right

Like all SQlab saddles, our kids’ models come in multiple widths – 9 cm and 11 cm. Extensive research has shown that a child’s age often correlates with their sit bone distance in an upright position – a helpful guide to finding the perfect fit.

The Kids Line is also expanded with a matching handlebar (3 ½) and new grips (7 ½) that are specially designed for a smaller upper body and smaller hands. This makes the riding experience for children even more comfortable and safe.

Please note that the kids handlebar and grips are attuned to each other and only fully compatible with SDG products and our own Kids-Line.
