Its wave-like contour spreads the pressure over a larger surface, which noticeably benefits the sit bones. Compared to the M-D Line, the height difference between the support surface and the relief zone is more moderate – making it a great fit for riders who enjoy sporty touring. The 610 ERGOLUX® active 2.1 offers up to 72 % relief in the perineal area.

The SQlab stepped saddle shape ensures optimum pressure distribution by shifting the pressure from the sensitive perineal area to the sit bones. The lower saddle nose reduces the pressure on the sensitive areas and the central dip ensures good blood and nerve supply.

The SQlab active-technology allows the saddle to flex laterally to follow the movements of the pelvis. This supports the natural pedaling movement and relieves the spine and spinal discs. The lateral flexibility of the saddle adapts dynamically to the rider's movements, promotes a healthy sitting posture and thus provides noticeably more comfort, especially on longer rides.

The pressure on the sit bones is distributed over a very large area due to the wave shape. The difference in height between the sit bone support and perineal area is less than with the M-D Line, which is consistently designed to relieve pressure. The 610 ERGOLUX® active 2.1 has a relief of 72%.

M-D Line stands for maximum relief.

The M-D Line was developed for maximum relief of sensitive areas. A pressure distribution according to medical aspects. M-D Line stands for maximized dip. In combination with the high classic step shape, distributes the body weight to the sit bones. The 610 M-D active has a relief of 82%.

From now on, SQlab Active saddles are supplied exclusively with a medium elastomer. This helps us reduce overproduction, waste, and unnecessary use of resources, making an important contribution to greater sustainability.

The white and black elastomers for individual adjustment of the Active System remain available at no additional cost. The elastomer set can simply be added to the cart in the webshop if needed.
