The right grip size is key for comfort, pressure relief, and control on the bike. The decisive factor is your individual hand width: only when the grip perfectly matches your hand, the pressure is evenly distributed – reducing discomfort such as numbness or pain.

Measure your hand and find your ideal grip. All SQlab grips are available in up to four sizes, ensuring your hand can fully wrap around the grip and the pressure is evenly distributed.

Why Hand Measurement Matters

Your hands are one of the most important contact points between rider and bike – they support your weight, steer, and brake. Without the right grip size, they fatigue more quickly, pressure points develop, and control can be lost when it matters most. With the SQlab Hand Measurement, you’ll find the perfect grip size so that your body weight is optimally distributed, nerves are relieved, and our ergonomic concepts such as the Ergobar and Relief Wing can unfold their full effect.

How does the hand measurement work?

Step 1

Place your hand on the illustration and place the tip of your middle finger at the height of the arrow. Spread your thumb slightly apart.

Step 2

Mark the crook of the thumb straight from above with a pencil.

Step 3

Take the size from the chart and select your grip size. If you’re between two sizes for MTB grips, we recommend choosing the smaller size for better control and grip security.
