Hand Measurement

Find the perfect fit with the SQlab Grip Size Measurement

The right grip size is key to a stable and controlled riding feel. What matters is your individual hand width: when the grip fits the hand, contact is defined and pressure is distributed evenly, enabling precise and controlled steering.

Hand measurement provides the basis for finding the correct grip size. SQlab grips are available in up to four sizes, allowing the hand to fully wrap around the grip and maintain a defined, steady position.

Comfort, Control & Safety

Hand Measurement Matters

The hands connect rider and bike. They steer, brake, and provide feedback. To maintain control, the grip must match the hand. SQlab hand measurement provides the foundation. Based on this, ergonomic features such as the Ergobar and support wing work together precisely to create a defined and secure hand position.

How does the hand measurement work?

Step 1

Place your hand on the illustration and place the tip of your middle finger at the height of the arrow. Spread your thumb slightly apart.

Step 2

Mark the crook of the thumb straight from above with a pencil.

Step 3

Take the size from the chart and select your grip size. If you’re between two sizes for MTB grips, we recommend choosing the smaller size for better control and grip security.
