For road cycling, add 2 cm to your measured sit bone distance to determine the appropriate saddle width. For example, an 11 cm sit bone distance corresponds to a 13 cm saddle width. The 612 ERGOWAVE® 2.1 is available in 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 cm widths, allowing the saddle to be matched to your individual anatomy.

The 612 ERGOWAVE® 2.1 does not feature active technology and is designed to provide a direct, precise ride feel for performance-oriented road cycling. This distinguishes it from models such as the 612 ERGOWAVE® active 2.2, where active technology is designed to provide additional comfort and help relieve stress on the spinal discs.

The 612 ERGOWAVE® 2.1 provides 65% relief in the perineal area. At the same time, the ERGOWAVE® shape supports a performance-oriented riding position on a road bike. This combines a saddle construction focused on efficient riding with targeted pressure relief in a sensitive area.

The 612 ERGOWAVE® 2.1 combines hollow S-Tube rails made from lightweight stainless steel with a carbon fibre reinforced polyamide saddle shell (PA12 + CF). Superlight Foam is used for the padding, while the cover is made from Superlight Microfibre. Depending on the saddle width, the weight ranges from 210 to 235 g.

The 612 ERGOWAVE® 2.1 is designed for a maximum load of 90 kg and is E-Bike Ready. It is classified as DIN/ASTM Category 4 (challenging descents below 40 km/h and jumps of up to approximately 120 cm). The maximum tightening torque is 18 Nm.
