At just 4 mm thin, the SQ-Pad 12 R might look minimal—but it’s packed with function. The high-density foam ensures that pressure is distributed evenly without collapsing or shifting during pedaling. That’s especially important in a low, aggressive riding position, where the pelvis rotates forward and sensitive structures are more exposed to pressure.

Instead of thick, spongy padding that deforms under load and increases friction, the firm construction of the SQ-Pad supports a stable interface between rider and saddle. It stays where it should—even on long, intense rides. The result: less chafing, better power transfer, and a more efficient ride feel.

The bib construction features a lightweight mesh back panel that sits flat and allows heat to escape effectively—especially when riding in an aggressive position. SQ-Pad ONE12 R has an adapted shape for the very sporty sitting position on the road bike, in which the pelvis rotates strongly forward. The pad, which is only a maximum of 4 mm thick, initially feels exceptionally firm and high quality. The pad is thereby not – as it happens usually with high, soft pads – pushed uncomfortably inward during the pedalling motion and is made for racers in a very sporty riding position.
