Selecting the correct width on the 612 ERGOWAVE® active 2.2 locks in sit bone support and pelvic stability, minimizing pressure spikes and converting more force into forward drive.

If you don’t know your sit bone distance, measure first.

Proven ERGOWAVE® shape

The stepped ERGOWAVE® shape positions the sit bones in a defined support zone, stabilizing the pelvis under load. This reduces pressure on sensitive areas and creates a stable base for efficient power transfer.

active-Technology

The integrated active-System allows a slight side‑to‑side movement of the saddle. This movement is based on the body’s natural pelvic motion, similar to what occurs when walking or running, and supports pelvic movement during the pedal stroke.

As a result, motion becomes smoother and loads are distributed more evenly across the lower back. The degree of movement can be individually adjusted to riding style and rider weight using interchangeable elastomers – ranging from sporty‑direct to comfort‑oriented. The result is a more dynamic ride feel that preserves efficiency while adding comfort.

From now on, SQlab Active saddles are supplied exclusively with a medium elastomer. This helps us reduce overproduction, waste, and unnecessary use of resources, making an important contribution to greater sustainability.

White and black elastomers for individual adjustment of the Active System are available separately and can be added to the cart in the webshop if needed. Alternatively, they are also available from your specialist retailer.
