Provides ankle clearance, but build quality is less than perfect

I bought these pedals to address longstanding alignment issue in my set up. They absolutely provide the necessary ankle clearance and are excellent in that respect. I plan to continue using them as they are the best solution I have found. However, the build quality is less than the Shimano XT pedals they replace. The cleat engagement is just not a crisp and they feel a bit wobbly at times. Dialing up the release tension did help. I would love to see SQLab collaborate with Shimano to offer longer axles for XT or XTR pedals.

Just what I needed

Pedals have been great for the little time I tested them. Still have some issues with my shoes so havent been able to test the pedals that much. Pedals have been what I expected them to be.
