The perfect fit for a bicycle grip is crucial for comfort and grip safety. The grip width is the measurement from the tip of the middle finger to the crook of the thumb. This is exactly where you enclose the handle. The grip sizes differ in diameter, length and shape.

The Ergobar – a wave-shaped elevation on the underside of the grip – mirrors the natural contour of bent fingers. This creates a defined edge for the fingers to hold onto, ensuring a secure grip even during sudden braking or quick direction changes.

Conventional grips often overload the carpal tunnel exit – causing numbness or tingling in the fingers. SQlab pressure mapping shows: up to 80% of peak pressure hits this sensitive zone.
