All changes to the 7OX 2.0 grip result in improved ergonomics, even better form fit, precise grip and secure feedback in every riding situation.

Optimum Fit

The 7OX 2.0 Pro is now available in 3 sizes. A new version in size L has been added to provide optimum control for riders with larger hands. The new grip is 5 mm longer – for increased control and an ergonomically optimized hand position, especially for wider hands or a more aggressive riding style.

Our lab tests show: the 7OX 2.0 Pro grip reduces peak loads and helps delay forearm fatigue—key for demanding MTB trails.

Arm pump is a common problem in mountain biking. Repeated impacts and a constant grip position can reduce blood flow in the forearms, leading to a loss of strength and control. To better understand this, we conducted EMG measurements (to track muscle activation), vibration analysis via sensors on the handlebar, and grip force testing.

The outcome: a newly developed TPE compound that improves damping and grip control—reducing muscular fatigue and keeping your hands fresher for longer. Designed for ambitious riders who want to stay in control from the first descent to the last.

The 7OX Pro 2.0 is designed for demanding gravity and downhill trails. With an improved rubber compound, extended grip body, and optimized ergonomics, it offers maximum control, high comfort, and reliable grip – even in wet, muddy conditions and strong vibrations. The clamping on the inside of the grip allows for more damping on the outside and noticeably improves feedback. New texture zones and a deeper ergobar ensure a precise grip position and minimize the risk of arm pump.
