The alternative to the Innerbarends®

The perfect gripsize

The personal grip size is important.

Grip size is the measurement from the tip of the middle finger to the crook of the thumb. This is because the fingers grasp the grip precisely by this measurement.

Grab outside

While „Innerbarends“ bring the hands inside and thus improve aerodynamics on long and straight routes, the classic Bar Ends of the „Stuby®“ grips have the advantage that, when going uphill, more power can be brought to the pedal by pulling on the outside of the handlebars.

This applies to pedalling in a standing as well as a sitting position. Nevertheless, even on long and straight routes, the strain on the hand, but also on the shoulder and neck, can be changed and reduced by gripping the Bar Ends.

Advantage "Stuby®"

This is where the great advantage of the „Stuby®“ form comes into play: The Bar Ends can be gripped far back due to the unusual shape, which makes the back inclination more upright. At the same time, the „Stuby®“ Bar Ends can also be held like conventional grips, making the sitting position a little more sporty. As a result, the „Stuby®“ grip offers many different grasping options despite its compact design.

Stuby grips - The alternative to the Innerbarends®

While Innerbarends® bring your hands inwards, improving aerodynamics on long and straight stretches, the classic bar ends of the Stuby® grips have the advantage that when you're going uphill, pulling on the outside of the handlebars allows more power on the pedal. This is true both when pedalling in a cradle as well as in a sitting position.

Nevertheless, even on long and straight stretches the strain on the hand, but also on the shoulder and neck can be changed and reduced by gripping the bar ends.

The big advantage of the Stuby® shape is that the barends can be gripped very far back due to the unusual shape. Thus the back inclination becomes more upright. At the same time, the Stuby® barend can also be gripped like conventional barends, making the sitting position a little more sporty.

Therefore the Stuby® grip offers many different grip possibilities despite the compact design.
